Primary Arms PLX HTX-1

finally got an email saying these were available. seems like years ago they were announced. interesting with supposedly ability to mount onto mostly any pattern host. interesting reticle (IMO). ACRO style setup.

BUT $800?????? I know it's supposedly made in the US, but still

anyone else with thoughts?

shoot man. you can find RCR for around 600 second hand, and a little more for RMR HD. the tried and true RMR type 2 is around 400 second hand. I've heard great things about the CORD Pandora and those are half the price.

but the question is has anyone beyond the YouTube guys actually gotten their hands on these? is supposedly sourced in the US (not just made in the US) worth the price? etc....

just wondering if anyone who is a "Joe blow" has actually gotten their hands on one of these
 
seems like another item for larping reddit guys to overspend their allowance on.
 
I think the mounting system is pretty nice and better then just 2 bolts. But now that holosun have mail boxes and some eps updates they still might be the best bang for your buck. Also once its instock maybe the prices will drop. Everyone wants made in america but only wants to pay Chinese prices or COD optics. Even o lights are stepping up there game. I think if your sick of holosun then vortex defender is the next choice if your not wanting to spend the big bu ls on rmr and acros
