Places in or around SGV for duffle cut

recently picked up a gewehr 98. The stock looked amazing for how old it was until removing the front band and seeing that it had been duffle cut. ive never done any woodwork so im not confident at all in working on a 100+ year old stock. any places to visit for this or any place nearby me will work?

this is the only home based ffl ive been able to quickly find, is it by chance this one?

Looking at the street view it doesn't look like it. This man had a garage and I had to go to his home to pickup the item I purchased from him at a gunshow. If there is a show coming up, he proudly displays an m1 garand fitted with a 20 round mag and marked not for sale in addition to the items he is looking to part with. This was maybe 8 years ago, he's probably elderly now.

i just searched up hmk enterprises and it looks like it might be too late now to visit him because everything about it says it's permanently closed. but thank you for taking the time to look for it
