I realize that I’m starting to collect CA Olympic Exempt .22 pistols: Benelli, Hammerli, S&W Model 41, and now Walther.

BTW, if you need anything Walther, Earl at Earl’s Repair is the man. Official USA Walther representative. Got me my C&R OSP and now my GSP. Friendly, personal service. Like a throw back to the old days.

I gave my bud a M39 forty years ago as interest for some ducats he loaned me. When he passed 20 years ago, I got his A5 Sweet Sixteen and all his tools. Thanks Rusturford, PAX

JC Higgins was Sears' house brand (made by High Standard IIRC). You can see the Sears catalog number on the barrel.

I've been collecting 22's among other things and it can & will become addictive. I have everything from 10/22's, Ruger target pistols, Kimbers, piles of Nylon 66's, Remington 513T, Mossberg 44's, Winchester 1890's, 1906, 61's, Colt Match Targets, S&W 41's & 17's, Anschutz 54 SM and lots more.

There's no end to the vintage and cool 22's that pop up.

Pace Setting Design .22 Pistol. Used for steel challenge and other .22 pistol matches. One of the finest hand fit pistols you have never heard of. I am lucky enough to own 3 of them. All hand fit with barsto barrels with a guaranteed accuracy of 1" at 50 yards or less. 1 1/2 lb trigger pull with a mouse click reset. Sold off my CWA and Volquartsen competition pistols, this thing is 10x better in my opinion. A truly hand fit special pistol.
