FDE - 10.5 AERO Upper/Anderson AM-15 Lower

GRAY - 12.5 BCM UPPER/Aero X15 lower

It’s in single-shot configuration. If that changes I’d go HF with a Houge FF pin.

When I was in, this is the old school rifles types the cool guys used. Well, this and MP5s. The M16A2 Carbine and Car-15. Liberties taken with grip, qd end plate, CMC drop in trigger, etc.

Everyone else was running iron sight M16A2s.

Finished my build today. I call it a Modernized Mk18 since it’s 11.5” with some more modern touches. Everything on the build is Solgw, FCD or Geissele parts.

I was at the local Cabela's perusing the Gun Library, and this one caught my eye. It was priced at $649, but after getting 10% off (Club Member Appreciation Day), getting another 5% by showing my hospital ID card, and using $150 in points I was out the door for $422.87.

The parts I can ID:

Vulcan Arms lower (not well regarded on the interwebs)
Magpul PRS 1LX50
Bushnell Elite 3200 10x fixed with Mil Dot reticle and target knobs.
Rise Armament trigger.

All other parts are unmarked as far as I can tell.

Other features:The trigger is a crisp and light single stage drop-in. Not sure who made it, but it has a scorpion in a triangle on the side. The barrel is a bull barrel, stainless steel, and marked M1S SS. Don't know who made it.The grip is an over-molded and contoured grip, very comfortable. Both take-down pins have extension knobs that allow take-down with forefinger and thumb. Free floated round hand guard.
