If you're interested in a non-resident Utah CCW, ASDI (Armed Self-Defense Institute) hosts classes all around the country. I don't see any in SoCal, but I'm sure you can contact them and they will let you know. ASDI also has non-resident CCW courses for other states, though Arizona, Utah, and Florida are usually the "big 3".
