Most comfortable holster for p365?

how long has the p365 been on roster? I got it, added it to my CCW immediately and have used it since. to me its second nature. I do NOT appendix carry of note. im short and the distance from waist to hip when I sit is too uncomfortable for me.
Nov. 2023 I believe. I plan to appendix or whichever position feels more comfortable. If I dont like will just keep in my Vertex fanny pack with crossbreed modular holster in it.

The day is coming for my CCW.. Dreading wearing appendix, feels so uncomfortable. Love my new Kore belt but my $30 amazon holster looks great but no adjustments, feels uncomfortable. I am fit, no belly, have no idea how everyone says its easy to carry, maybe I am doing something wrong. Also, I am OCD and dont want anything that will scratch my slide, gun is new and I like keeping my things like new.. I understand its a "tool" but I am like that will all my possessions.

Any ideas?
I never have liked appendix, I am a righty and have always carried IWB on the right side.
I can't help you with the OCD, other than if you are training frequently, it may leave you.
I train and carry rifles and pistols all the time.

This is my EDC rifle which goes with me on hikes and training all the time.
The only reason the hand guard looks pristine is I just bought an awesome new hand guard that gives me more grip, but look at the light, suppressor, and receiver.
they have went head-on with granite boulders more times than I can count.

Steathgear app appendix. Has been my goo to for my shield for 4 years and now for my xmacro w/trl7 sub. Would carry even better as the micro im 6’2 250 chunky.

I have a safariland species holster for the 365 xmacro that you can have for cheap. IDK if you have the macro or regular p365.

As far as personal preference, Tenicor all day long. I also don't care if my slide gets scratched.

Pocket carry

Getting used to carrying appendix, will just accept it not the most comfortable regardless of whatever holster you use. Use my fanny pack and alternate. The safariland species is ok, digs into me when driving but getting used to it. No complaints, one week in getting my CCW, the best feeling knowing I am packing!! Especially in Los Angeles, lots of shady people..

Stop worrying if you’re going to scuffed up the slide. It’s a tool.

I have been carrying my 365 in this holster for over a year and it’s so comfortable. Sometimes I forget I’m wearing it.

I've had a bunch.. at first I thought it was the desantis uni-tuk.. now I'm convinced it is the tulster oath. For being all kydex, it does the following things :

- has very secure, identifiable retention
- the placement of the DCC style clip keeps the entire thing closer to your body than other holsters, even though we're probably talking millimeters, it feels like a difference to me.
- uses the least amount of material necessary, feels the least intrusive to my waistline.

I have boxes full of holsters for my P365 X Macro and P320. I used to carry occasionally when traveling to Vegas or Texas, but today marks day 2 of carrying full-time with my CA CCW.

I use the Vedder Light Tuck for the P365 X Macro (no light) with a separate mag holder on the other side (similar to a sidecar setup but separate) and a velcro wedge to address hotspots. I sit 9-10 hours a day (plus about a 1.5-hour commute to and from the office), and so far, it’s been comfortable. The only discomfort is from the Core belt pressing against my back while sitting. I also recently bought a Tenicor LUX2 after seeing good reviews on YouTube, but the built-in mold really hurts for me.

The point is, I don’t think asking others for the “most comfortable” holster is very helpful, since everyone’s body type and tolerance for discomfort vary. I’d suggest trying as many holsters as you can and finding the one that feels least uncomfortable for you.

Good luck!

If you're not comfortable, you're less likely to carry. At least that is how it was for me. I don't appendix carry. Don't like it. I finally found a holster I like that fits my needs, whether I'm wearing jeans with a belt, or a belly band type belt for when I wear gym shorts or sweats.

I use the DeSantis Slim-Tuk IWB for my p365. Keep in mind, my p365 is stock except for a Hogue grip and a serrated optic cap to replace the original.

Comp-tac eV2 Infidel. They list it as appendix carry but I've been running it at 3 o'clock for a year now. REALLY like it.

I like my Tenicor Certum 3 worn in the 3:30-4:00 position. The best part about the holster is that it’s fairly customizable and can also be configured for appendix carry.

I primarily carry off body. But when I do aiwb for my xmacro comp or glocks, I use the Tulster Profile plus. It's well made without having to pay over $100.00.

I’m a lard ass and the phislter rig or the Hunter Constantine belt with a 🍆 pillow works for me. The key is I wear 2 belts. One for my pants and the other for the AIWB holster. This lets me wear the gun higher so it’s not digging in my crotch. Both also work with athletic shorts and sweat pants.

I've carried aiwb at 290lbs and now 190lbs. I've found the biggest comfort factor has been a belt like the Hunter Constantine carry belt. I'd say even more so than holster selection(gone through 12 myself). Allows you to sit, stand and bend over without having to adjust your belt. I've used kore and other ratcheting solid belts. They work great for keeping your pants up but don't make for a comfortable carry. If the HC belt is too expensive theres also AEGITEC defense belt, typically $40 but they always have sales going on.

Bradec Holster.

You will need to quickly get over worrying about visible wear, it’s not just about it being a tool it’s basically impossible for it not to happen if you use the gun. General holstering/unholstering will inevitably wear your slide, so will shooting which will also show signs on your barrel and other areas.
