SB2 considers any restaurant that serves alcohol as a sensitive place, including parking lots.

He won’t be charged for the shooting and IMO, I don’t think he’ll be charged under the SB2 statute.

Agree....but its all up to the DA.... In orange county the DA might of spoke publicly on how bad they law is from stopping people from saving lives like this.... In LA.....they might file.

I do want more info on why the off duty officer in the restaurant did not act.

The LA DA is no Gascon

Fingers crossed that he's gonna be fine, but who knows what backdoor bull💩 CA could pull to make sure he's prosecuted as an example

Training for off- duty officers is "be a good witness".
I get its been proven in court that Law Enforcement has "no duty to protect you" however, an imminent threat to the public while you are being a good witness is crap. They should be let go. If I were the CCW holder and anything came down on me I would be dragging that cop thru the coals.

This was posted days ago. LE has hailed the shooter as a hero and no charges filed that we know of.

The LA DA is a former fed attorney and is a Republican, doubt he will charge the shooter. Now if it was a 🍌 like Gascon, yeah oof.
