Anyone else have an affinity for mammoth or other ivory and actually shoot with it?

I've got a few sets and they've all been rock solid. The 1 pair I haven't shot with yet are the mammoth molars, but just haven't gotten around to it.

I love it but can't talk myself into buying more of it. I've got a pretty awesome skinning knife with mammoth ivory grips.

Be super careful when installing . Right under the safety on this one the grip was a bit off and it napped a piece of on install . Look into rubber bushings or rings maybe and don't over torque or it may break the grips if you feel ANY resistance stop and reassess .

I change all my grip bushings to the Challis ones using their tool and use o-rings with any ivory grips.

Here are a few more of the sets I have.

Sort of... but way far outside what you are thinking. I bought my wife a pair of earrings carved from mammoth ivory,
a polar bear motif, but not on a basket. Like the ones at
Almost certainly the same artist. Not something one finds at the local store.

My wife wears these occasionally when shooting in our back yard.

That is definitely a flex
