Magazine modifications- ie p320 in echelon

Hello, looking to crowd source some information about mags that can be cut or modified to work with guns that don’t fall into the “freedom week” existence of mags.

What mags work or can work with some modifications in guns they weren’t intended to work with?

For example:
Canik TP9 mags seem to sort of work with PDP?

Some people say Berretta 92 mags can be made to work with the PDP and works with 92/m9 baseplates?

I have played with a p320 mag and it seems to fit in an echelon. I used a dremel to test cut a small notch in the320 mag. It held it and would cycle rounds in my garage. The cut was not ideal but I had a busy with a laser engraver cut a proper notch and it worked in his gun much better.

Anyone know of other mags that can work with guns like the PDP and echelon?

Beretta 92FS 9mm and Sig P226 are the same magazine. The mag catch cutout is just in different spots but can be modified to fit.

I think Walther PPQ M2 mags are said to work in the PDP compact. And there are extended PPQ m2 mags that might work in the full size. Good question I was thinking about myself recently. One piece of advice I heard was to have your backup be a normal non freedoms week 10 rounder in the event you needed to swap it in.

Related question, my understanding is if you go to a USPA match, just nobody cares what mags you have?

Personally have trained with LEO who also don’t seem to even bring it up or care about mag capacity.
