M&P Compact 2.0 basic owb holster recommendations?

So, I just picked up my M&P Compact 2.0. Unlike with other guns, I wanted to get some ideas before picking up an OWB carry holster. Normally, I'd just grab something off the shelf at the local gun store.

I retired recently and my wife is getting close. I'd like to open carry in our "new state". I'd like to get a holster that I can clip on and off of my belt as needed. Doesn't have to be any kind of specialized holster like for a light, red dot, etc. I won't be using those. Doesn't have to be a primo duty holster. Just something decent that works well.

Heck, I don't know, perhaps the holsters at the gun store are good enough?

I second bravo. Great holsters, you can also choose to add the paddle attachment that can slip on/off your belt.

I have a few safariland which I really like. Smooth operation, positive release and adjustable. They come with a paddle but I've switched to bladetech mounts for easy changes on a gunbelt.

I like my Upper Hand owb, its curved and hugs close so you can use it concealed with a long enough shirt and obviously is also good for open carry. And they are reasonably priced. I have a shield plus.

If you're going to be wearing around people you'll want an active retention holster that attaches securely to your gun belt.

The Safariland GLS would be good for that scenerio.
