M & P 2.0 5" slide and barrel

I have a M&P 2.0 with a 4.25" barrel. Will the slide and barrel from a 5" just match up without any fitting?
If so, where could I get one here in Kalifornia?

Yup. The frames are the same dimensions. Just make sure everything is 2.0, not 1.0.

As for where to buy. You can still get everything but a barrel online as long as the seller ships with signature delivery. Try Optics Planet. S&W won't ship to CA anymore. Otherwise should have bought all that stuff last year when it was easy before the new laws took effect.

As for how to get a barrel, I can think of two methods. Method 1: Find a dealer that will source one for you and sell it to you. Prepare to be butt raped on the price. Method 2: Find a dealer that will receive a barrel and transfer it to you, then find a retailer that will sell it to you and ship it to the dealer. Prepare to be gang butt raped on the price and transfer.

Yes the 5" slide is a drop in on the 4.25" frame.
