California has its perks, especially if you ride motorcycles and love general outdoor activities. Ca's geography and climate are hard to beat. Raised in Cali and spent a lot of time in Washoe valley, NV as a kid and an adult with my family. I feel these two neighboring states compliment each other and offer so much.

What's with the verbiage? Seems a tad childish that you can't convey yourself without using derogatory terms.

Fair - I didn’t read past your first reply on the thread. Although, people who don’t even click into the thread to see what the response was can see that the thread contains derogatory elements just from the title. I know that just removing the threads without some level of discussion is a slippery slope, but also, will folks who are demeaned by stuff like the OP is posting really want to stick around when these sorts of things are being said and 80% of the comments just seem to ignore the inflammatory elements? Moderation is though. I don’t have all the answers. Just figured I’d add a little perspective for consideration.

The biggest problem with California, is its full of californians. That's only partially a joke.

Like another poster said, some of the subjects born and raised in the last 2-3 decades here have been successfully gaslit into believing what happens here is normal, regarding the 2A issues and otherwise. And it's not. If you've never spent any real time (or any at all) beyond the borders, it's wild see how much freedom there is just 3 (or less, depending on how adventurous you're feeling) hours to the east.

I don't think Commiefornia will return to being California any time within my lifetime. I have plans on leaving soon, but might maintain temporary residence. That said, if anyone reading this thinks what happens here is in any way "normal", I urge you to spend some real time (like, a month or more) outside of here and see what we're all so desperately missing.

I trust Elon far more than I’d ever trust a Democrat. Elons findings make sense, it’s a bunch of crap that we don’t need to be supporting (like transgender studies in animals that we spent $240 million of taxpayer money on) . Gavin just magically pulls 50 million out of his backside while CA is 1.7 trillion in debt and he’s asking congress for another 40 billion for ‘wildfire relief’ (which I hope they say no to or at least attach major conditions to). If he wants 40 billion, then clearly we don’t have 50 million to spend on fighting Trump… yet here we are that begs the question: where did he ‘find’ 50 million just laying around?

The thing is, if it doesn’t stay and we remove it, it continues to happen. This way there’s a discussion and there is an understanding. Something I think we lack these days. It is tough, but we try to keep things fair.

You've mentioned the $1.7 trillion debt where did you get this information from? I can only find one article that mentions this and its a no-name website. Are you talking about the deficit? That's a different type of debt and more along the lines with cash flow.

Keep in mind, if you're familiar with budgets, some things will need to be cut if he's going to find $50 million. That's how budgets work. There's a reason Elon is doing these cuts. The tax cuts done in 2018 are expiring and will put us into a bigger deficit if we don't cut spending at a federal level. Where do you think these savings go? The tax cuts are going to be made permanent and need to have a funding source so billionaires pay single digit if any taxes.

If you're a regular W-2 worker, you'll see less services available to you. If you are a business owner, you'll get more incentives for tax breaks. As an american, I play by the rules and follow laws. It helps when the laws are in your favor. If you know the laws, just try to leverage them like the wealthy do.
