Laser bore Sight recommendations

In the process of getting a few guns with optics.
need to get them close then i'll dial in at the range.
Most of the amazon bore sight kits are around $30 except for SiteLite which is much more expensive.

Any real differences? All the $30 kits look the same just different labels.
Is there that much of a difference I should consider the SiteLite or much more expensive laser?

thanks but I have multiple that I need to get prepped for a class and just need to get them close on paper before going to a range.
It's more of a time thing just to get me zeroed quicker

I have SiteLite and barely it. I use shootnC target sheet more to get dialed in. About 5round Im zeroed

I have found though that most times you don’t really need it, as others above have mentioned. If you’re way off, it will get you close but you still have to dial your rifle/pistol in, especially for height.

Not exactly a bore site laser, but have you considered getting a dry fire laser? Something like this (link). The difference is that a bore site laser is always on, while the dry fire laser only turns on when the firing pin hits the back of the dry fire cartridge.

My rationale is that you can continue to use the dry fire laser cartridge after you zero you red dot in (dry firing at home), instead of getting a bore site laser that you'll probably only used once when you get a new red dot

But also, +1 to folks that are saying you don't really need a bore site laser haha. I have a dry fire laser cartridge, but I've never felt the need to zero at home before zeroing at the range. Every time I've needed to zero a red dot, I've been close enough on paper. The REAL advice is to use high viz splatter targets instead of the usual paper (if you aren't already). I always keep a bunch of these splatterburst targets (link) in my range backpack because they make seeing my hits so much easier. Also, each sheets comes with dots to patch up holes too.

I have this one, works fine for your intended purpose. Neighbor's garage across the street is 30 yards from mine, so it gets me in the ballpark of a 25 yard zero and I can take it to paper from there. I would say it depends on the barrel length your sighting in. I was looking at the site lite a while back but I was sighting in a p365 and that barrel was too short. Someone recommended one of those cheap bullets on Amazon and it worked just fine for me.

Agree great for rifles done more than a few this way.

If I was doing something where I can’t see through bore then I’m starting at 10 yards on a good sized paper target to atleast get left or right centered then work on the up down part.

Two problems with some of these inexpensive units:
1. The laser doesn’t throw far enough to be of any value.
2. The arbors are sometimes not concentric, so they don’t align the laser with the center of the bore.

If I was doing something where I can’t see through bore then I’m starting at 10 yards on a good sized paper target to atleast get left or right centered then work on the up down part.
