I had my interview back in September of this year. Received a call mid November saying that they couldn’t find my Livescan information and I told them that uploaded proof of livescan in the permitium portal. Officer said if she called me back it would be a problem and if I didn’t hear anything that my application was moving forward. Still haven’t heard anything or received any information in the mail. My initial application date was August 2023

Yes. All my references were called prior to getting the call from the officer about my livescan…kind of weird there hasn’t been any other movement since everything else has been done

I am in the same boat as you timeframe wise, no action for me either. Based on the last person on reddit, interview was Aug 12 and he picked up permit Dec 17.
When were your references called? When did you do LIve scan? Maybe got delayed because firearm portion takes longer to complete.

Just called right now and my investigator confirmed my application is still being reviewed but they’ve approved me to go ahead with doing my training.

I actually did training this time last year before sb5 passed so I still need to do an additional 8 hours to meet the new requirement. She told me to do it and upload it to permitium which should help the process go a little faster.

What does it say on your Permitium order tracker progress? Mine says "pending commander review." I completed training days before my interview in September, thought it would speed up the process like others claimed before, but apparently not the case.

Interview completed in October, references called 2 weeks ago. My permitium status is “pending captain review”. I just finished my training this week. Anyone know if I am okay to proceed with uploading my training docs to permitium while my status is still “pending”. I only ask because I think I recall an officer during my interview saying I could proceed with training but to hold off on uploading training docs until my app is officially approved.

You should be fine uploading on Permitium. Just got the email today that I am approved!!! Pick up Jan 14... My interview was sept 9 and I turned in training at interivew.. You probably have another month to go!!! Unreal feeling.. Ordering more holsters/toys as we speak!!!! lol

I started my application in March 2023, barely got my phone interview done November 2024! had to retake my ccw training and completed it within 60 days of the email sent after the phone interview. waiting on them to review my certifications i sent this week and will let you know

I have no idea what this is.

I had my ccw instructor do my application for a fee

After that 1.5 years passed and I just got a private caller interview me and it was the sheriff

Then emailed me saying I’m approved to retake the ccw training

They're doing phone interviews now? Is your CCW with LAPD or LASD?

Yea and it is with LASD

LASD has a different process, sounds like they’re not using the Permitium site like LAPD is.

LAPD does in person interviews.
