I was also told to continue with training. Just finished my class Sunday and I've submitted my certificate. They told me my live scan came back clean and that I shouldn't worry about anything.

I had a few misdemeanors all expunged and sealed … but nothing that should prevent me I even went to court and they said I should be fine nothing holding me back I also have an Arizona Ccw a Alabama Ccw and open carry permit for work .so I carry a gun now lol

Received call for interview scheduling 7/3/25
Submitted application on permitium 7/3/25
Livescan submitted 7/7/25
Interview 7/25/25
CCW cert submitted 8/11/25
CCW approved 8/27/25
CCW pickup Scheduled for 9/10/25

I just have to make my final payment on permitium but the option to do so is not available yet for some reason. Ill send them an email to clarify.

Interview completed in October, references called 2 weeks ago. My permitium status is “pending captain review”. I just finished my training this week. Anyone know if I am okay to proceed with uploading my training docs to permitium while my status is still “pending”. I only ask because I think I recall an officer during my interview saying I could proceed with training but to hold off on uploading training docs until my app is officially approved.

So I was told at interview to go and take training
But before training the permitium app made it all the way to pending chief now it says pending final approval and I just uploaded my 16 hrs passed shooting 100% class 97% and my detective told me he would be working on my class score Tuesday..if I wails be denied they would have sone it long a go yes

They might add you to the September pick up date if you're lucky

For me, I emailed the LAPDCCW email with my order number thing and their reply emailed had my investigators email in it.

Picked up the license today and ordered a id sleeve for it since it looks like the ink on it will wipe off if i stare at it too long ! Im guessing about 100+ people picked up today.

I emailed LAPD in April 2025 to get on the wait list, but I never received a confirmation that I am on the list. I emailed 3 weeks later stating that I never received confirmation and I asked a question about address verification. This time they emailed me back with an answer about the address verification, but they said nothing about confirming that I was on the list. Should I have received some kind of wait list ID number? Should I request confirmation again, or should I conclude that because they answered my question that I am on the list?

I emailed around same time as you, sent a request to be added to the list on a Friday morning, received a confirmation following Monday afternoon, with a caveat about "it will take time" before they email/call to schedule interview. No ID/number, just a standard email acknowledging receipt and setting expectations for next step.

He applied on Jan 4th.

went to pick mine up today and was told that they are being mailed as well. no idea on when to expect it to come in, but was a bit disappointed as it's a ~3 hour round trip with traffic
