Not that kind of stress. I visited my sister in another state and I went to do some target shooting with her family. The only overly dramatic thing I want in my life is the music in my videos :ROFLMAO:

 
Nice drone footage! Although a bit funny, I loved seeing the recoil on the AK.

If only 7.62 prices dropped to pre-COVID... I've been itching to take mine out.

Yeah my 10 year old nice can handle recoil of that AK pretty well. She's also very proficient with pistols. Ammo prices are ridiculous everywhere these days .

Props to you/your siblings for teaching her gun safety at a young age. We need to start 'em young and change the stigma!

Thanks. We all grew up in an outdoorsy military family so guns, playing outside, playing with guns outside are the things we do. :D
 
Target shooting 12,000 feet up the Colorado Rockies can't be beat. Bullets fly further and faster up there.

It's also good in AZ in the winter. No good in summer, most outdoor ranges close.
 
Looks nice. I’m in az and there’s lot of land if you explore. Just make sure you are on either blm or forest thought. Shooting on state trust land will get you in some trouble.

I started my kids at early age too. They started on ruger 10/22. My son moved to the a2 Ar and loves it. Daughter is now 19 and will shoot the sbr and son likes it in super safety mode. Luckily they don’t shoot as much these days though since I reload the alm lol.
 
I am starting my daughter (9) on a recently purchased P22. I already cleaned and oiled and changed the guide rod and spring to a captured. Going to run a couple of 100 rounds though first before letting her shoot. ordered snap caps as well and will have her practice dry fire, mag loading, not flagging, and mag release. My first gun was a 10/22 as well...not sure why I opted for a pistol for my daughter's first. Oh well.

Thanks for the tip! We were on BLM land based on the interactive map from BLM office. I avoid state land at all costs because there are too many specific laws and restrictions that I'm not familiar with.

I got the on x map recently and its ccool for showing areas.Before that i went online and found a blm map as well which is pretty good but not as clear as the on x since it shows you location live.

We did some off roading near wickenburg last month and i took the sbr so when we took a break we were in blm land(mostly blm where we were) and we took a few turns shooting.brother in law wanted to try it with the super safety. you can cross without stopping and stay on the trails.BUt best to buy the 20 dollar permit and not worry about anything.Its good for one year from date of purchase.If you seen the blm maps you can be on blm land and cross into state land often unless you are in a solid blm area.

Im in peoria so i dont have to go far for desert but definitely wanna head further west towards salome to find new long distance shooting spots.
