It’s legit in my opinion. It seems like too many “Buyers” try to gaslight you, offer a sob story or are just plain brazen in their attempt to rip you off with ridiculously low offers under the guise that you must “Need” the money which makes you an easy mark.

“I know what I got” means if your not serious or are trying to offer an inferior or artificially valued item to trade just keep moving along, nothing to see here.

I always took it as a response akin to "don't try to lowball me, I know what I have and what it's worth value wise". What it has come to mean in at least the 2A secondary market and lots of enthusiast markets seems to be more similar to "don't try to offer me less than I think what I have is worth ... even if I'm wildly uninformed or have unrealistic expectations for the sale price of said item".

The same kind of people who do the whole "1 of 1" with their corvettes or 911 builds lol.

Edit: I didn't see this was in the site feedback section. While I stand by my characterization of what that usually means/who usually says it, in the case of classified ads, I think it's just like the body armor choice - it's a tongue-in-cheek humorous option that doesn't mean much different than the actual serious options near the top for yes, no, etc.

Y'all- thank you for your replies, yes, I do understand that it's a bit of a joke and that it means lowballers will be ignored. What I'm really trying to understand is how this is a fulfillment of the category "Open to trade."

Does it mean "No lowballers, no trades" or "No lowballers, yes trades?"

It could be either case. If they’re open to a trade, it’s usually for something of “equal” or “greater” value. Quotes because the item for sale is most likely overpriced since the seller “knows what they’ve got”.
