Those are for the Glock SCS, it's so weird because the have the PDP, VP9 and M320 dimension screws just not the MP2. Same goes for Calculated Kinetics and their replacements, guess the only option really would be to get the longer ones and grind em down like someone else mentioned.

Dremel go brrrrrr.

Dremels are way too weak for any sort of serious use.
Dremels are great for melting stuff but not any use where you actually want to CUT material with anything other than an abrasive wheel.

I shorten screws on a 1/3hp bench grinder.
Anything you might actually want to use dremel for is better done with a foredom tool as they are stronger and lower RPM which makes them actually cut with a toothed cutter in a more controlled manner.

When I was talking to the guys at CZ-Parts, the value they recommended was 1.3 N*m (newton meters) for optic plate screws, which is a little over 11 inch pounds. Their plates and screws are made by CZ, so they use a lower torque value for higher-quality components.

I use that torque value for all optic fasteners. Never had one fly off or shear. 15 inch lbs. is too much in my opinion, as some fasteners are much lower quality.

Holosun may be recommending that high value to cover their ass, but it seems too high to me. Lots of potential downside with over-tightening.

I always go 18 on red dots to slides, plates, or risers. I got tired of screws loosening up at lower torque values.

I think high volume shooters need to worry about this more then the avg shooter
