Gunsmith recommendations in San Diego?

Looking for a reliable (and available haha, i.e. decent turnaround times) gunsmith in San Diego, ideally East County.
For general work but namely my mom's AR actually has developed an issue cycling.
I've never had any work done by any gunsmith so I don't know where to send her.
I know of Gussler's (family friend of my in-laws actually) but I think they're pretty backed up usually.
Also anyone know what it might cost for a little AR tune-up? (I know rates can vary, just wanna give my mom the heads up)
TIA! 🙏🏻

I cannot make a GS recommendation. However, have you tried doing a thorough cleaning and proper lubrication? Also, have you tried some different ammo?

It started happening at the range when I had my AR as well
First thing I tried was the ammo I was using (no isses on mine) but it didn't help.
It seemed to manual feed/cycle fine, but when actually firing it seemed to either fail to feed or possibly double feed?
I tried my mags too, no change.
Couldn't get more than maybe 4 rounds to cycle through then it'd hang up.
I think she said she did try to clean it, but she doesn't shoot very often so I'll ask her again...

Just a thought, as you did not mention if this was a factory rifle or parts build.

But, if you have an M4 feed ramp lower and non M4 feed ramp barrel the ledge this creates can cause problems similar to what you stated as the nose of rounds get hung up on the ledge this combination creates.

So my mom had bought the rifle from Turner's a few years ago, and had only put maybe a couple hundred rounds through.
I'm not as familiar with the brand/specs etc, it was off their shelf but I'm not sure if they put it together or if it's an off the shelf deal unfortunately. I will take a look at her feed ramp though and see if there's any obvious issues.

Clean and lube it with Slip 2000 EWL.

That will fix it.
That's a bold statement unless you have actually inspected the gun in question and found that it has no problems besides lack-of-lubrication.

Clothey & Sons Gunsmithing in Santee and AOSword in El Cajon. They are really good.
Awesome thanks
I forgot about AOSword, I'll probably start by helping my mom make sure everything is clean/inspect everything and if it still doesn't wanna run I'll give them a call
