Alright, got an oddball one here. I've got an old beat up Smith model 15 no dash thats seen a lot of rounds. Barrel is a bit shot out, so I'm thinking of using this as a base for a Smython build. I happen to have a 6" blued Python barrel sitting around, and this gun has a great trigger so I think it'd be a good candidate. My question is if anyone knows of any smiths that can perform the work? I know of Tenring who does the work for $500, but they only do the work once a year so I figured I'd see if there's any other options. It basically involves recutting the threads of the python barrel to fit the frame, opening up the ejector rod channel, installing a front lockup detent, adjusting forcing cone, and blending it together. I would also at the same time like the get the whole gun reblued. Any suggestions?
