Hi all. I installed the gpt to my gen 4 19. It has an odd feeling, like the initial take up is fine, then there is a secondary take up as it’s moving the sear away from the firing pin, almost like a three stage trigger. Also the firing feels like it is not predictable. Has anyone encountered this?

I heard great things about this trigger. Even rumors that FBI HRT was using them. Haven't had a chance to try one and contrast it to the ones I own unfortunately. I would recommend installing a minus connector on it and seeing how it feels afterwards.

The thing is I do carry this gun and wanted an oem product for liability reasons. And I love the way the shoe feels on my finger. Ugh I emailed Glock let’s see what they say.

Detail strip the slide to remove the striker assembly and clean it.
Look at where the striker is being drawn rearward and polish that front face to reduce any grittyness on the final stage of travel before the striker releases.
Now look for any other non-smooth edges in the rest of the striker release and trigger bar parts and smooth out the interacting surfaces.
