If it is anytime soon, start taking a look at the weather app of the current temperatures to get an idea of what kind of clothes you want to wear; dressing for the weather, choose your fabrics/garments based on that, and I would choose earthy colors.Hi yall.
I just got invited to a hunting 3 day trip next month somewhere in Fresno.
I have never been hunting so I have no gear/clothing for this trip.
What clothing and items would you say are essential? I’m not trying to break the bank or overpack for this trip. What do yall recommend?
FYI, the group I’m going out with will bring camping and cooking essentials so that will be covered. More concerned for the clothing and gear aspects of the trip.
Keep a spare pair of socks in your pack. Don’t use fragrances or shower in fragrance/scented smelling shower gels/shampoo/conditioner before the trip.
Sometimes folks will have a spare backpacking backpack they can loan you for the trip; such as a starter backpack they bought and don’t really use much. If they don’t, and you need a pack, you can find just a regular backpack at home but keep it minimal since it doesn’t have the waist support band to help keep the weight off your shoulders; but go for earthy colors.
