First time CCW holder looking for a belt, any recommendations?

As others have said the ability to fine tune discreetly has been a life saver.
Many time you may think your belt is the right tightness but you will be out and find after walking or getting in and out of the car your pants can ride up or drop and you need to adjust on the fly.

Kore edc belt or the goove belt have to solid light weight belts i have used for years.

Believe it or not, I have a couple basic plain Railtek belts and LOVE them!! Carry a P365 with a Rounded Gear IWB and zero issues. Sometimes, you just gotta keep it simple IMO.

Nexbelt user for around 3 years now. I like the fine tuning "ratchet". Paired with a perry suspender it's been the mainstay of my CCW setup. Rigid and reliable, been run through more than a handful of IDPA competitions and tons of practice draws.

not sure if anyone else has mentioned them yet, but I've been running the Bladetech ratcheting belt for about 4 years and its been great. its on the stiffer side, so not super comfortable, but it was sturdy enough for me to carry 3 loaded pistols on it as a goof one time. some people talk crap about ratcheting belts, but I see no downsides, and they give you much more flexibility to get the exact tightness you want to secure the weapon IWB. in general tho I would say belts are kind of like holsters, your first wont be your last and you'll probably need to try a few to see what works the best with your weapon, your carry style, and your body type

Coming to realize my Kore carbon fiber ratchet that I once liked, not so much anymore, too rigid/uncomfortable... Thought it would break in but not so much... I understand they have to be sturdy but I think too sturdy, especially for my little p356..

The Kore belts are definitely rigid and don't soften. I wear mine everyday and it doesn't bother me, but I can see how others may feel they are uncomfortable. I have two leather Kore belts that I wear if I need to be less casual and those are a little more comfortable.

Love my SOE had it for years broken in and feels good all day don't have one for dress though I think the kore is a great option after looking thanks for the recommendation.

Getting my permit soon and I am having a hard time choosing a ccw belt, planning to carry my p365 IWB. So many on the market that it is very confusing... Too stiff, not stiff enough, etc.... I never usually wear belts so this will be a whole new experience for me.

Any suggestions?

On a budget as well, don't care to break the bank.

I run a black 5.11 leather belt. I purchased it as a gun belt, but ended up using it for everyday use.

Kore Essentials

I have two Kore essentials and when they break down, I will get another. The ability to adjust the size after eating with just a pinch of the buckle is awesome. And they are not flimsy belts.
