First time CCW holder looking for a belt, any recommendations?

+1 for the Core belt. Heard the Hunter Constantine belt was good by my buddy but started unraveling at the elastic part.. i also run the leisure carry when I wear joggers/sweats..

Getting my permit soon and I am having a hard time choosing a ccw belt, planning to carry my p365 IWB. So many on the market that it is very confusing... Too stiff, not stiff enough, etc.... I never usually wear belts so this will be a whole new experience for me.

Any suggestions?

On a budget as well, don't care to break the bank.
Hank’s Belts.

I use a standard Carhartt work belt for EDC. $32 on Amazon. For pistol matches I use a Wolf Tactical two piece that has molle connections. $54 from Amazon.

If you’re carrying appendix nothing compares to the Constantine carry belt. It’s also the same as the tier 1 elastic belt. I’ve been through them all and I comfortably carry a g17 with a wml appendix with the Constantine carry belt and a t1c holster. I have tried a lot of combos, and things get expensive. But over time you end up with what you need to carry it.

I’m on my second one, wouldn’t use it for my regular carry now, just use it for when I’m leaving with sweatpants or gym shorts. The elastic wears out too fast and it starts to allow the grip to hang outwards. Kore belt I’ve had for years is still holding up and provides way more support.

Kore essentials! Hands down!

I went with A Better Belt 1.75" custom two-tone horsehide belt. It's so great that I now routinely buy these for people as gifts. Mine is stamped "The Polite Gunfighter" and other folks I've gotten them for have their names on them. The product shows a devotion to Made in USA craftsmanship that I have rarely seen. A steal at $150 or so.

I have two of these. Either for CCW, or as an every day belt. You can get them with the steel insert, if that's what you want. I don't have that in mine. I CCW a 1911, Shield, CZ 75, and HK P2000.

I have Tenicor Zero, Blue Alpha Low Profile, and Kore X7 Tactical Nylon.

I daily the Tenicor.

I highly recommend KORE Essentials. Solid and affordable belts. I have used their belts for years and they have lasted!

I went with a Hank's belt, with sale and coupon it came out to about 55 plus tax. Very happy so far, warranty is tough to beat. They unfortunately raised their prices about 15% just before the holidays, and the current promo is oniy 20% off. So I'd wait for a better promo if you can.
i too use hank belt. great belts fits all my pants and shorts. works great. bought one for each family members

I have and use:

Groove
Kore Essential
Tier1 Concealment EDC-S/Hunter Constantine

They are serve their own purpose. Kore are great and can be used for casual and dress-up/business wear. Groove are lightweight and discreet. The Tier1 EDC-S provides different carrying options.

I would say a leather Kore belt with a nice buckle would be the most versatile for the different dress requirement.

I like the adjustability of the nylon belts.
