First time CCW holder looking for a belt, any recommendations?

Thanks for all the replies. I decided to go with the Kore Essentials Carbon Fiber with X7 buckle. I know its a little overkill for my 2 pound p365 and g27 but I LOVE carbon fiber, have in my car :)
 
Believe it or not, I ordered belt from Kore on the 23rd and got it the next day!!! With regular shipping. Very impressed with the belt so far, looks great with the ride :)

kore essentials are highly recommended. infinitely adjustable, well made, nice looking and lots of options. Make sure you get the CCW ones with reinforcement, because they have started selling just regular belts too.

Tenicor Zero Under belt, but they are always sold out. You have to get on email list of availability

That is literally my setup guns belts and all. You love it
 
I have Kore (Nylon, leather, and Armotek), Nexbelt supreme EDC, Tenicor zero, Hunter Constantine, and Agonic EDB belt. I have Vedder, Hanks leather, Groove belts as well but only worn them a couple times and stopped. My main rotation is Kore, Nexbelt, Tenicor, HC, and Agonic.

I am on the chubby/bigger side with a stomach/dad bod and carry appendix a G43 most of the time. Here are my thoughts on each that I have in my carry rotation:

  • Kore Belts - This was the first brand of belts that I purchased and I had purchased several of them because at the beginning, I'd cut too much on the strap and it would bother me sometimes when it was too short.
  • Kore Nylon - The nylon belts are very stiff to me and I noticed some parts weren't even touching my body. For a beginner with flexibility on adjustment, I always suggest Kore as you can't go wrong with it.
  • Kore leather - the leather only holds 4lb weight and although it is much softer and flappy, when it's not tightened tight, the muzzle seems to poke me or the rear slide area tends to roll over a little
  • Kore Armotek - This is Kore's fake leather, it's engineered. It holds a bit better in weight like 6lbs and is thicker than leather. I was using this belt pretty frequent as it pretty much looks like a leather belt but TBH for conceal carrying in a shirt and jeans, I prefer nylon rather than leather belts.
  • Nexbelt Supreme EDC (regular buckle and thin bar buckle) - the belt itself is thinner than Kore and the buckle is pretty quiet, easier to release to loosen and tighten. I liked this belt alot at first but start noticing it is sometimes stiff especially after getting my Tenicor belt. If I wanted to carry a ratchet belt that day, I'd pick the Nexbelt. Only problem is the threads on the inner of the belt strap starts to thread and I've contacted Nexbelt with pictures, they sent me new straps right away so their customer service was good.
  • Tenicor zero - This belt is soft but not stretchy. I suggest this belt to alot of friends as well because you simply can't go wrong with it. Because I'm so used to a ratchet belt and I have a stomach, I would loosen the belt when I drive. I was having trouble with the tenicor because its somewhat easier to loosen the buckle but I'd have to hurry and tighten it back when I get out of the car. If you're the type who doesn't need to loosen when sitting, then I'd highly suggest the Tenicor belt. No threads ripping or anything and I've had it since they first released the belt. It easily holds up your firearm in appendix or strong side. I like how minimal and simple it is. When it's not tightened enough, the firearm starts to flop out at the rear sight.
  • Hunter Constantine - Alot of people love this belt but it's somewhat not for me. I had it when it first came out because I liked the idea of elastic belts after using my Groove Belt for about a year (stopped using cause I didn't like it when carrying appendix. I was carrying strong side my first 2 years of CCW). I just don't like having to connect the hook on my side as I'm so used to buckles being as centered as possible (usually around 11 o clock since AIWB on 1 o clock). The belt somewhat would slide down or I'd have to make adjustments with the straps which I find a hassle because I'll tighten or loosen, then try it and make adjustments again and back and forth. When the belt is loose, the front end tends to try and roll out my firearm.
  • Agonic EDB belt - I just got this belt last week and have been wearing it everyday since. It's basically a mixture of Tenicor and Hunter Constantine. I am not a fan of the look of the belts as the entire belt is an open end that you can slip your hook. I'm also not a fan of hooks as my mind is always set with some kind of buckle but in the end, I can make as much adjustments as I want by hooking to any slot (hunter needs to be adjusted at the strap before using the 2 slots they have). Also, they use a placard like an Enigma that goes behind the belt and that's where you clip your firearm holster which is why the entire belt is not stiff ( it's thicker than constantine and tenicor but stretchy).
 
Hunter Constantine belt is by far the comfiest and easiest belt to carry with.
 
I like how slim and minimal the Tenicor Zero belt has been.

I just use a sturdy Dikies leather belt. Then again, belts are like holsters, you will get as many opinions as you have people using them.. It’s a lot like finding a wife, you may have to try out quite a few before you you find the right fit.
 
Another vote for Blue Alpha. I started with a KORE ratcheting belt, but didn’t like how big the buckle was. I always had to wear it to one side to try to hide it better. Blue alpha uses Velcro/hook and loop or whatever you want to call it, so there’s no buckle to mess around with. One thing I will give the KORE is readjusting on the fly was much easier. I don’t find myself needing to readjust my Blue Alpha belt though.
 
I've been using a Kore belt for the past few years and no complaints, its a great carry belt. I also used a belt from We The People and it was ok but hard to get into/out of some belt loops.

I do the kore belt and a tier 1 or hunter Constantine belt. I actually wear a suit alot and i wear both belts . I really like the hunter Constantine because you can wear it with or without a belt, their is no holster clip showing on the outside , you can tuck in your shirts and can do deep carry also. Another bonus is you can take your pants or shorts off while using the bathroom without worrying about your gun being exposed on the floor while using the restroom.
 
I like Kore as well. Also, try to avoid belts with the holes if you can because when you’re carrying IWB sometimes you need to be in between the holes and that become frustrating at times.
 
I have a big box of holsters and belts...if I could go back in time, I would buy tenicor zero belt and holsters....and I would have saved a ton. Although, unsing enigma holster, no need for a belt.

PS...I have been using Hunter Constantine belt in the Tier 1 variant lately, and so far so good.
