I've just learned that effected Sept 1 26, repeat live scan fingerprinting will be required for renewals. What is the possible logic in requiring that, other than to throw yet another obstacle in our paths?
I understand the purpose of original fingerprinting...to be sure we are who we claim to be. But once that's done, couldn't they just check for any change in our records since the previous scan? Don't they track us anyway? What possible benefit to anyone by adding this requirement?
