From the looks of things they intend for this to be accessible broadly across every department of the federal government.

This would not only be the holy grail of gun databases its effectively a social scoring system. They're targeting immigrants now and also people that say bad things on the internet. It's the consolidation of information from every agency into a central database. Companies like Palantir leverage AI to find insights through automation. This would give the government or whoever has access the ability to put in your social and have a profile of everything about you from all government sources & can be extended to Federal api access (already exists) to from big tech to scan everything about you. All the services from maps, messaging, browsing history, email, social, etc.

Consolidating the all the available into a central government system that can recommend people based on certain criteria is definitely concerning. Having built business systems that do this it’s amazing all the deep state people are so quiet considering Snowden let people know what’s going on and now it’s being taken to another level.

It’s ironic there so little discussion on this topic. I would’ve thought this was important to all Americans that something like this is being built and spearheaded now.

The citizens need to get united and protest, and call their congress and senators. phone calls work. those people are more afraid of losing their cushy jobs than anything else.if voters truly speak against an issue en masse, it could turn the ship.

This is a nightmare somehow even worse than the patriot act, at least with that most agencies didn’t have a searchable database instantly available, and once the database is set up it will never fully be gotten rid of because of “national security” or whatever buzzword

this is very disturbing. again as noted. this is one of those genie out of the bottle things. and no matter what the purported purpose is, once it exists it can be used for WHATEVER purpose. Think: it gets hacked...uh oh.....

I think the Chinese social credit system will look downright incompetent when compared to this.

It's hard to describe to people what this will look like in practice without sounding like I'm reading science fiction, but that's mostly because people really aren't leveraging agentic AI alongside modern decentralized databases and therefore they vastly underappreciate what a tool of this scope actually looks like.


What this will look like is this:

Your local police dept will have a rotating stack of high profile people they've probably never heard of or thought about before who meet whitehouse criteria for "undesirable". These will be people with oppositional political posts online, or people who read and buy lots of subversive books/literature, or people who have a lot of problematic social media connections, generally just whoever the current boss considers n'er do wells.

That list will be dynamic and you may as well think of it like a targeting package.

Now, because they have so much location data they will actually know when you are likely to be in a given area or may even setup alerting to warn officers when you're in their presence so they can preemptively do a safety check or something along those lines.

They also will likely have visibility to things we may not have imagined before like awareness that a certain protest or event is going on and they can actively target people likely to go to that event on the way to it and harass them.

The admin has also effectively shown that they're heavily targeting union leaders, or labor organizers with police harassment and now that border patrol basically has no accountability to constitutional legal norms things will quickly get very ugly.


For people here who feel like they have nothing in common with people who might go to a protest or union organizers the reality is veterans, friend groups that go shooting together, all manner of ordinary things you enjoy will likely make you a target, and further people you like won't always be the ones driving this massive push for a police state.

Putting people in jail is incredibly profitable. You need cheap labor for the now empty fields, and factories. I think we know where that cheap labor pool is going to come from.
