I just got home from one of the best and most valuable trainings I’ve had in the shooting space. FASTMED offered by LEO Defensive at the Livermore range was well worth the time and money (and wasn’t all that expensive,TBF). Great training from both a first aid and shooting perspective, excellent demos and hands on; incorporates applying first aid appropriately, must-have tools that can be applicable in a variety of situations, and how to manage yourself under duress - one-hand and off-hand draw, shooting, reloads, and clearing malfunctions. So much packed into a day, clear-cut actions to practice at home. In this day and age, knowing how to aid and assist and stay safe while doing it is a critical life skill. Highly recommend - and if you’re not a Bay Area resident, I sure hope there’s something similar where you are. It’s way more than a Stop the Bleed class can cover.
