How the expensive battle for 2A just keeps going and going without resolution?
Makes me wonder if it is by design by the 2A law firms. After all, if they prevailed and got the constitution followed- they'd be out of their jobs.

While that may be possible, the more likely because the state/fed fights us with out own tax dollars.

They basically use our money to fight us in court. With them having unlimited funds to defend their position, who do you think would have a bigger chance of winning? If we run out of money we loose. If they run out of money z they just tax us more

Consequences for enacting unconstitutional "laws" would be a great step in stopping all this. But the ones who can put those laws in place are the same ones that would be effected by it. Therefore the only way is run a petition to get it on the ballot and have the citizens force it upon them

Or the nuclear option of the 2A....

Step away from the Reynolds Wrap... Most if not all 2A rights cases are DEFENSIVE against bizzare convoluted "laws" that make sense only in crazytown (Everytown?).

2A rights are attacked with "death by 1000 cuts" strategy, requiring years/decades to overturn bad law. It is not a "fun" fight for those lawyers who stand tall in the face of current cultural biases and 🍌 legislators/judges, and they likely don't get paid nearly enough to deal with the bulls**t!

What is it you think that "2A law firms" could have done differently that might have forced elected politicians to behave differently?

Retard logic.
They're lawyers, they can land on their feet, all they have to do is step sideway one step to keep busy. Until they settle in on a new theme, they can always chase ambulances. PAX

If I got to pick one thing- consolidate all the 2A issues nationally, have one big-ass trial and (ya know) WIN across the board.

That would be the antithesis of proper judicial review. The courts tend towards narrow decisions precisely not to tip the balance of powers. While it would be nice to have a one-and-done 2A win that leaves no stone unturned, it would run counter to the intended purpose of that branch of government.
