You have a right to privacy in your home and someone using a drone or a zoom lens camera can be help criminally liable for taking photos/video inside..... having said that... Ill play devils advocate. You see a drone flying outside your daughters window and decide to shoot it. Police show up and its my drone and I can show I was using it to take wide photos of your neighbors house for a real estate agents listing. Its going to go very bad for you. What if some guy is flying his drone right outside my 14-year old daughter's bedroom window, hovering there? Am I criminally liable for taking his drone out in that situation, with birdshot? What if he's at 200 feet? What if 300 feet? Seems like a very tough decision to make on the fly.
200-300 feet? Now you are looking crazy. Like a helicopter at 500 feet hovering so you think they are watching tan naked in your backyard and you think you can shoot at it?
