I’d like an explanation how this stock is in any way correlated to the well being of our country.

I was looking for more technical analysis than the vibes of “if the presidents media company is being purchased by enough investors” that means the country is doing well.

I don’t really understand the point of this stock or the token for that matter just seems like corrupt graft, which honestly seems very bad for the country to me.

It’s hard for me to wrap my head around how insane all of this would sound with any other presidents name on the stock to even his adherents.
See, that’s why you are incapable of le of a serious conversation. Literally what you asked was :

Once such an explanation was furnished, without missing a beat, you moved the goalpost about 100 miles. I’d bet you aren’t even away you moved them either. I think it’s a subconscious defense mechanism. Complete this sentence: “Liberalism is a mental ________”

The explanation provided was comically juvenile.

Liberalism is destroying this country; you just don’t realize that Donald Trump and all the billionaires driving his behaviors are liberals because you like his merch and the weird Florida rappers he has cheering for him.

Frankly I don’t understand any of it it all seems very weird to me.

Surely you recognize by now that on paper Trump is the most 👨🏻‍🎨 president in all of American history?

He’s forcing banks to buy bad debt, printing trillions to bankroll Potemkin companies, and forcing the federal government to take ownership of corporations that are failing all over the place. He makes Obama look like a Reaganite economically speaking.

Need I mention the masked federal police force breaking into peoples homes without warrants on “a hunch”?

This dude sets the constitution on fire and everyone is like “I hope his 💩ty media company stock is mooning!”

Repeat after me: left wing 👨🏻‍🎨 economics do not work.

Now say the other part: right wing 👨🏻‍🎨 economics do not work.

See? Not so hard.

I’m sure that made sense to you when you typed it. Can you try to re-write that in a dialect that normal people can understand so I can respond? I apologize but google’s TDS to english translator isn’t working at the moment.

Guys the stock ticker ZOOM 7-Xed in 2020 when the lockdowns hit because retail investors thought (incorrectly) that it was for the company that owns Zoom video conferencing… it’s a totally unrelated Chinese penny stock. Markets are not rational and seeing ANY stock/commodity going up has no bearing on whether it will continue to go up or immediate drop 50% after you “buy into the swing.” TA is bull💩, and unless you have true insider information (in which case acting upon it would be illegal) there is no way to predict with stock price/charts alone how a stock’s price is going to change in the future. Anything else is survivors bias.

Just invest in the s&p, some gold, some real estate, and some small cap index (and maybe move some equities to safer investments as you near retirement) and don’t you dare touch any of it when it goes up or down. If you have extra cash when things inevitably drop from time to time, sure throw in an extra 10% of your income that month, but otherwise don’t even look at it and tempt yourself. (Not a financial advisor, not financial advice)

I nodded to crypto just because I think it introduced the public to trading based purely for sport rather than the underlying value. The original BTC has by far some of the worst underlying tech , the transaction fees being the most obvious problem but there are a ton of others. And yet, it's still the most valuable because it's the most popular. Who knows of block chain has a real use case, it doesn't even need to have a coin, it's literally just a decentralized database. As it is now, and as the stock market is played now, it's simply gambling.

As far as DT, I don't give a F- about him personally I care about the damage to real things that's come with the administration. We shouldn't even have presidents let alone one with this much power we should be cycling through prime ministers like England. They are just temporary leaders, not historic figures. I can't get on board with the idea that I should want him or anything close to him to succeed, it's pure evil and we will feel the effects probably the rest of our lives. I don't understand what it would even mean for him to "do a good job", the only way that would be the case is if he reversed literally everything he's ever done. The best we can hope for is people finally see how dangerous these policies are and consider their choices better in the future. But it really really F-ing sucks in the meantime.
sigh retardo Montalban lol. Your tds is showing ..

This makes no sense.

Yes, Trump is lighting the constitution on fire but they (him and his admin) don't appear to be liberal motivated by liberal policies. Unless you assume that every billionaire is a liberal - but the evidence of this is contrary.

They cut medical; they cut external support/aid; they torched veterans benefits; SNAP; they are arresting people (Americans) without due process...and they set up a tax system that redistributed wealth to the upper levels of income earners; torched free trade; etc, etc etc....I mean the list goes on but none of these are 'liberal policies'. Through all of this he's enriched himself (tripled his wealth), his family and his orbit - this is a bi-partisan issue that is ripe in all levels of government but again, just like the Epstein files, this theft of the country is not exclusive to liberals, and its been offensively more so than any other administration.

Trump isn't political, unless it serves his interests. He IS enabled and empowered by every single GOP member voting for his policies through fear or self interest or whatever.

Does the neo liberal order actually promise healthcare and then sacrifice something to provide it? Seems to me given many such opportunities it instead serves the health insurance companies as best it can.

Neoliberalism promises a lot through the failed policy of trickledown economics so yes, it does exactly that! It claims to rely on market mechanisms over government intervention as the primary driver of prosperity and social organization but pumps all incentive at the top of the food chain claiming to be priming the well of prosperity. One of the most famous in recent US history would be Ronald Reagan. Its never worked.

NeoLiberalism = Fiscal Conservative....in today's use of those words very good examples of an oxymoron.

The funny thing is conservatives choose the 👨🏻‍🎨 policy of government subsidizing the giant completely unnecessary jobs program of the insurance and hospital administration industry rather than the fairly libertarian policy of “single payer” which is quite obviously mathematically cheaper for everyone and provides for better outcomes.

Anything to own the libs, even full blown socialism.

We also subsidize oil companies and a number of other profitable enterprises, bail out wall street, etc. As Jon Stewart has accurately put it: We have socialized losses but privatized profits.

Are medical care, veterans benefits, SNAP actually neoliberal policies?
