$DJT poised to break out?

I've long been resolved that there may actually be no answer, no perfect form of government...
The very concept of one group of people being ruled by another, at its very core, is the exact opposite of perfect.

At the same time, tragedy of the commons is a real thing and without some sort of governance and guidelines Somalia happens pretty quickly. Government is evil, but it is a necessary evil and should be kept as small and weak as possible...which our current state of affairs is the biggest and most powerful organization of any kind in the history of ever and with that size and power comes corruption and a self-feeding need to grow and justify its growth by any means necessary.

I can't think of one single solitary thing Trump has done that a president before him hasn't. I don't like the guy, but I'm not irrational about him.
A social media company owned by the president - that has never come close to making a profit - merging with a nuclear fusion company while he’s president has never been done by any president before him.

Using using tarriffs to pump and dump the US economy has never been done before.

Increasing he and his family’s network by billions in less than a year after being elected has never been done before.

Being friends with a pedophile sex trafficker - well maybe Bill Clinton also but it’s certainly looking worse and worse for Trump.

I nodded to crypto just because I think it introduced the public to trading based purely for sport rather than the underlying value. The original BTC has by far some of the worst underlying tech , the transaction fees being the most obvious problem but there are a ton of others. And yet, it's still the most valuable because it's the most popular. Who knows of block chain has a real use case, it doesn't even need to have a coin, it's literally just a decentralized database. As it is now, and as the stock market is played now, it's simply gambling.

As far as DT, I don't give a F- about him personally I care about the damage to real things that's come with the administration. We shouldn't even have presidents let alone one with this much power we should be cycling through prime ministers like England. They are just temporary leaders, not historic figures. I can't get on board with the idea that I should want him or anything close to him to succeed, it's pure evil and we will feel the effects probably the rest of our lives. I don't understand what it would even mean for him to "do a good job", the only way that would be the case is if he reversed literally everything he's ever done. The best we can hope for is people finally see how dangerous these policies are and consider their choices better in the future. But it really really F-ing sucks in the meantime.
I think it's important to put Trump into context. He fooled EVERYBODY. Trump's entire second presidency is a huge psyop. His campaign tricked an entire electorate into voting for a candidate with deep ties to a murdered geopolitical dealmaking sex trafficking Mossad asset, and who promised to expose this very same foreign intelligence asset as a core part of his platform! The Neocons cleverly hid themselves behind Trump's populism, and now he's been exposed to be the biggest Neocon president we've ever had. We are literally going to war with another country over oil, and our cover isn't even as good as "Weapons of Mass Destruction." Wash, rinse, repeat George W. Bush. Narco terrorists?! THE JOKE'S ON US.

Cut funding for science including medical and technology, is holding universities hostage with public funds so that they subscribe to his prejudiced ideology, decreasing access to lifesaving vaccines, started "trade wars" with no point except to tank US businesses, pumped our money into his private gestapo to arrest people en masse,Gutted federal agencies that do good work for science and the environment and are the only stop gap from corporations taking advantage of citizens, gutted the consumer protection agency that literally gave billions back to citizens that was stolen from them by banks, Rolled back environmental protections, tried but luckily failed to sell off public lands, the only president to actually reverse a national monument, kicked millions of people off their insurance by discontinuing the tax credits via obamacare, put in judges that reversed roe v wade but probably still won't give us standard capacity magazines and AR15s, doubled and tripled the insurance premiums of millions more including the owner of this site, among many other things. On literally every topic he's going the wrong way, 100%.

You may not care about these things but in talking to you on other topics you seem pretty low information so it doesn't surprise me that you don't know about what's going on or just simply don't understand the fundamentals of a working civilization. I don't fault you for being ignorant because everyone has a different background but in this day and age it's a little weird to be so out of touch when you have so much information at your fingertips.

This announcement was the exact moment it really hit me that there is an AI bubble. Certainly, AI is powerful and we’re in a new information but I do think we’re in for a major correction.
I have yet to see AI get even a google search summary right. As far as I can see it's going like self driving cars. Works if you put tracks down on the road but it won't be taking over any time soon for anything important.

I was living in Oakland in 2008 when Obama was elected and the town was on fire people were going crazy in the streets and I was sitting saying well achshually he's just status quo and nothing's going to change. I'll give him credit for a few things, but overall like most Democrats it's just more status quo with very minor improvements like Obamacare. But he didn't engage in the list I made above, I have no idea how you can read that list and then just repeat that every other president did that, even if some gestured towards some of the topics they weren't as bold, doing things without congress etc. It's definitely different and at a level that will have lasting damage above and beyond boring status quo democrats. Currently the supreme Court has not agreed to take any 2a cases but they are going to take a case that will decide if birthright citizenship is actually a thing. I have many people very close to me that are at risk of being deported even though they were born here and are in their 40s and 50s. That's cool if you live in the middle of nowhere and have your comfy boomer retirement so you can stay out of touch, but I am personally very concerned for the literal safety of actual people. Get your head out of the sand.

100% this. Every president is a different version of John McCain. Clinton and Trump are just versions of John McCain with documented histories of being associates of a sex trafficking Mossad asset.

If burisma is actually real what is the amount of money that purportedly changed hands to Bidens family in exchange for whatever influence was bought?

Do you need me to list the tally for the last 6 months of private transactions?

Dude is selling our country to anyone willing to chip in and none of us are going to be any better for it.

Now should we unpack the Epstein stuff or are we still at a stage of pretending it’s all not real?

Please tell me that's sarcasm. Otherwise, you're on the same level of nuttiness as the "gubment is spraying the sky to change the weather", and the 'pigeons are government spies' people...

You can question their slant, but they are top notch on the simple reporting of facts. Great reporting done by Drop Site News. This ain't kid glove journalism, and you won't find this on Fox, CNN, or MSNBC. I will gladly back up everything I said. https://www.democracynow.org/2025/11/12/epstein_israel

Anyone that doesn't realize anything you've said is so deeply in a bubbled media ecosystem right now it's almost hopeless to even talk to them. They literally see the exact same evidence against two different people and imagine completely different outcomes for both of them it's infantile at best.

Democracy now is a really poor source of news though. Greyzone, Mint Press, and some of the other independent journalists are doing far more honest work on these topics.

As I was saying, you can criticize the slant, but the bare facts are the bare facts. Democracy Now doesn't often fail fact checks, and when they do they issue corrections. Mint Press and others like Grey Zone operate in the same space of investigative journalism that Ryan Grim's Drop Site News does. The Democracy Now article I linked is based on the Drop Site News reporting on Epstein found here: https://www.dropsitenews.com/s/epstein-and-israel/archive?sort=new

I was looking for more technical analysis than the vibes of “if the presidents media company is being purchased by enough investors” that means the country is doing well.

I don’t really understand the point of this stock or the token for that matter just seems like corrupt graft, which honestly seems very bad for the country to me.

It’s hard for me to wrap my head around how insane all of this would sound with any other presidents name on the stock to even his adherents.
You're looking for reasoned economic thinking from a buncha people who:

1) Think the president has a dial named "inflation" on his desk that he can twist up or down at will
2) Don't understand that "inflation" is the rate at which prices rise, not the actual prices themselves
3) Did not intrinsically understand that in a capitalist society tariffs will get passed onto the consumer.

Good luck

Crypto as of the party is more like Bell Labs from before but with a global presence. NFT’s, RWA’s Stablecoins, stores of wealth are all features for a new protocol. They are just used or MVP’d in those ways early on. Similar to pR0n paved the way for streaming services before Netflix. Or VHS vs BetaMax. Now that things are settling in, the core tech is leaps more scalable and modern compared to existing technology.

DJT in particular is a shell company, if Trump is doing well, his company should do well too. We should all hope that as citizens even if you don’t like the guy, we should all hope he does a good job, holding onto positive thinking. Though I get the cynicism, he’s our president so hope for the best, expect the worst no matter who it is for one thing or another. I just try to keep a positive mindset.
Would Liberty Financial and what looks like a thinly veiled cash for pardons scheme does not give me a whole lot of confidence in the president doing anything but what’s in his own self interest.

Government is not evil, people are. Making government as weak as possible just means that evil sprouts up elsewhere to rule by a heavy hand and plunder those under foot. The cycle can’t be stopped.

Crypto is a smokescreen. Pure gamblling, much more than various types of stocks/financial instruments simple because it's 100% vapor. The djt stock is a gutterball when you look at the business...it's losing money and has no current plan in place to make money...but they are throwing all sorts of stuff at it. Much of it scammy. Maybe if they added the gold sneaker portfolio or signed bibles it would make a profit.
