Trying to see what the demand would be locally in the greater nor cal area for slide cuts and barrel porting.

i would say moderate. If you’re really a firearm enthusiast or have the money to do upgrades on a range toy or your ccw. Other than that i feel as if most people are content with complete oem or at least with optic. An FFL near me just started doing porting and is offering good deal for it (laser, not cnc or milled). Plan on getting some work done with them when i get the barrels I’m looking for.

Porting is more realistic outside of California, because it’s a custom thing and so expensive already, nobody wants to mess with a OEM barrel that’s gonna change the way it shoots. Lessons learned from the Gucci glock era and stippled frames. Buying ported is what most people do.

On the slide, though that’s gonna be a little different I wouldn’t mind getting some work done, but it’s usually pretty minimal and only if the gun is pretty heavy otherwise I prefer to buy a different slide if I can.

Looks cool though

I like the idea of getting a carry comp slide and barrel for my M&P and having the extra ports added to make it work properly. Then I can always go back to stock. A local outfit would take my business first before I deal with shipping
