I finished this install last night and now I need to know… does this officially make me a man?
The hardest part was getting the hammer in. Seriously—did they have to make those pins fit like they were installed by Thor himself? I experienced the full range of human emotion getting those things in. At one point, a punch died in the line of duty.
The upside? The internals are no longer a dark mystery to me, and I actually learned a ton from the process. Growth. Character development. Trauma.
Then I moved on to my Beretta M9A1 and installed the new hammer in about five seconds. Five. Seconds. I actually laughed out loud.
Looking back, I remember thinking upgrading a Glock was “work.” That’s adorable. Turns out it’s basically adult LEGO by comparison.
If anyone else is doing this upgrade and hits a wall (or a pin that refuses to move), drop a comment—I’m happy to share tips. Also, YouTube saved my sanity more than once.
