Crazy lady assaulted my wife

That's a tough situation. My wife has her CCW and carries every day. Someone does that to her, and it puts her in the position of having to choose whether or not to deploy deadly force in the face of a (probably) non-deadly attack. That's an ugly decision tree to have to climb.
I like the idea of my wife getting a CCW and she surprisingly likes it too, but it scares me a bit as well. She's only been shooting once and it did not go well, she was nearly crying and surprised by the recoil. Not exactly a strong gun culture in Colombia.

So I need to figure out some sort of 0 to CCW training pipeline. I was pleasantly surprised she rapid drew the OC spray, the coastal women are tough lol

Also wtf are you guys talking about DOGE, let's stay on topic lol...

Why are u guys being weird and racist about it

EDIT: So I called out the racism and OP removes the "Black" descriptor from his title, and the other racist comment was removed/deleted. To the other chud, lets not play stupid and pretend that by saying "black" we are simply describing a person and not inviting bigotry, which it DID invite and was subsequently removed. The skin color or race of this woman is completely irrelevant to this post and was not necessary in the first place.
Hahaha sensitive AF! She’s black gtf over it. I’m black gtf over it.

Sounds like she just needs more training and probably shouldn't get her CCW *just* yet, at least not until she's comfortable with guns, her carry candidate, and is reasonably accurate. My girlfriend won't even go shooting with me and I promised to start her on the noob-friendly .22!

Yeah this is why I use the descriptor "black" and not African American...not all black people are from *Africa (recently) and they're not all American! Plus, every form where I need to fill out my race lists Caucasians as "white". I also know black people who hate the term "African American" and prefer "black".

*All humans are from Africa originally based on mitochondrial DNA evidence. :)

lol, right? Assuming everyone with dark skin is African American always seemed funny to me. How do you know their nationality or origin just by skin tone?

Nobody gets more sensitive and upset over what black people do than white liberals lmaoooo

It's so exhausting when people are "offended" on behalf of others who aren't even offended. A little girl dressed in a Pocahontas outfit? Who cares. I'm Irish-Italian and would never care if someone was dressed as a leprechaun, Irish Dancer, or Italian mobster.

How tf did you like that comment so fast? That was like sub 1 second from clicking post

Yeah I always thought this was both cowardly and sloppy. Calling a black Dominican or Jamaican "African American" before one even knows their nationality is just so lazy.

Nobody ever gets offended. The ONLY people ever offended are WASP liberal/🍌 White karens (usually middle to upper middle class too). Literally only them lmao.

Yes, and I refuse to be a pre-emptive coward because of these people. I try to use a term that's technically accurate and practical, without assuming too much....just like black people don't worry about calling me "white", nor should they. I don't expect them to know my actual heritage, though astute observers can tell the Irish side from my last name. Weirdly, Italians in Italy could tell my Italian side by my facial morphology.

I thought your race was Draenei or something (I don't know WoW lore at all)

This. I get mistaken for Mexican/Hispanic all the time and I am Asian. Never offended, I just smile and let them know I don't understand what they just said and smile. Hell, my Asian friends gets offended for me and I just tell them no worries and all good. LOL, it doesn't help that I love Mexican food and usually do my grocery shopping at the mercado.

Interesting, and I know some Hispanics look quite Asian!

Black is what I use. I’m very white coming from Russian heritage on my father’s side and German heritage I can trace back to the mid 1600’s in the US on my mother’s side. But I have blood relatives from my sister’s children who are as black as night.

A lot of us descended from those who mixed with other hominids, outside of Africa. I get a lot of complements on my brow rigde.
