City of Pleasant Hill CCW

For all 5 of you (if that) living in Pleasant Hill, apparently they're issuing CCWs through the city now.

$175 initial fee, $175 issuance fee. 3 character references (one from a cohabitant), Psychological Evaluation if the Chief wants one done.

On-roster only seems like a big oof to people who are used to carrying CZs etc. Glocks are renewed for another year, but the Gen3 G19 might be on the chopping block soon....

Firearms must be on the DOJ Approved Firearms List: Click Here to Confirm
  • Permitees are only allowed a maximum of three (3) weapons on the CCW license, and they must be listed accurately on the application.
  • An Automated Firearms System (AFS) Record is populated when purchasing or having a firearm transferred through a Federal Firearms Licensed Dealer (i.e. the firearm is "registered" to an individual).
  • Firearms are only associated to one individual.
  • You MUST upload DROS receipts for any weapons included on your CCW application..
  • Background checks will be completed to ensure applicants have an AFS record which associates them to the firearm(s) they are requesting to list on their CCW license.
  • Red dots and flashlights are allowed by our agency.
  • Trigger modifications, barrel modifications (milling, etc.), markings, engravings, and lasers are NOT allowed by our agency.
  • Holsters must have some level of retention (aside from gravity holsters).
  • NOTE: We complete Weapons Inspections prior to CCW license issuance.
