Was just looking at the BPD website... fees to the city of $866, plus training and psych fees. Also mandatory interview. They even state it's a long & tedious process. Brentwood residents are going to miss the CCSD process we complained about.

That's a bit steep...

SF only charges $144 initial app, and $52 for renewal before training/pysch fees. And we didn't even issue CCWs for decades until Bruen!

Now that BPD is doing their own CCWs, I asked them what the course of fire is for qualification (they defer to the training agency to do the qualifying). Response from the PD, course of fire attached... seems to be the same as CCSD

Good afternoon,

This is the form that the vendors have for the course that the CCW applicants have to complete. The second page has the range qualifications that we require, but the company putting on the training is responsible for the curriculum. The curriculum is mandated by DOJ for the duration and material being taught during the course. Thank you.

Wow, CoCo is $80 + $80.
