Cerakote services in SoCal

How fast are their turnarounds, and do I need to completely disassemble the parts for cerakote?
Please contact them directly. I can't answer your questions. Thanks. I know a few gun guys that use their service and really like them.

Does our 11% second amendment tax apply? Are there any gun law restrictions for this? Are the shops required to have FFL licensing?

Might save another trip across the border to Arizona.

I emailed Rifle Supply for an estimate.

Years ago I wrote to Angel City and never heard back. Maybe they're under new management now? Anyone have first-hand experience?

Just picked up this m&p 5” today. It’ll be my CO gun. What do you guys think of the 2 tone, should I cerakote the frame FDE after an optic and trigger job? Pay to play am I right 🤝🤔.

Any SoCal (IE/OC) shops that cerakote drop them below. Thanks in advance!
Syndicus defense corp in Anaheim is amazing! Chris just did a ar15 for me and he did a spectacular job, check out their instagram

Still waiting for them to reply. It's been 6 days. I'm going to followup tomorrow.
Maybe ping them on instagram.. I'm debating to do mine as well but I want the closet possible to the 19x finish. IDK what cerakote will produce that, which is why I'm hesitant on getting it done. Research says the Troy coyote tan but I'm still on the fence. Let me know what their prices are and their turnaround. A place local to me is charging $200 for slide/frame with a 2/3 week turnaround if the color they is in stock, if not it would be an additional $30 and another week on top.

I wrote to them earlier this year and never got a response either. I have no reason to believe they don’t do good work, but if they don’t respond to inquries then that’s that.

H&H Engineering in Lake Elsinore did a multicam black job on my SLR B15. Advised it would be 2 months but got it back after a month.

FS Defense in Chino did one color jobs on my P226 Scorpion and Shield Plus. The turnaround on each was a week.

Alpha Shooting Sports did a multicam black/green job on my CZ P01 (including slide optics cut) in February. Took under 3 months.

All three did a quality job and turned around the work within the timeframe quoted. YMMV on depending on how busy they are right now.
