I'm looking to have my Series 1 Colt Cobra gone over. It was my late uncle's service revolver and I'm certain it hasn't been fired in at least 50 years.

It appears to be in 'new' condition, but it's age concerns me.

Armacor Labs (Don Pierce, Jr) is up in Atascadero, but I'd like to stay on the south side of the grade.

Go see Taylor (Gryphon Gun Works) at Uncle Eds Outfitters in Atascadero. Don at Armacor isnt always at his shop, so you have to arrive on his schedule. Taylor is usually at the shop during business hours so he is available on your schedule.
Im sure all it needs is a cleaning and a re-lube. Oils and greases can gunk up from age and will attract dust bunnies and foreign dirt; all that can foul the inner working of a revolver.

There isnt much on the south side of the grade anymore that is worth a darn, unfortunately

I’ll give him a call tomorrow. Good day for a ride, I’ll take the long way through Margaritaville.

Thnx.
