CCW - you're carrying, you print or it's exposed, someone (employee, random stranger) asks 'you're carrying (a gun)?

If your harsh reality is that when someone decides that it’s your time then you’re going to probably die anyway the why carry at all? Judging from your advice there’s no point in taking preventative measures cause when it’s your time it’s your time.

I never said bad actors are following you or anyone around. I simply stated that if someone can see you printing, then it’s probably time to invest in better gear or better clothing because as I’ve stated before, you can’t tell who’s out to get you and who’s not.
Because if they pull out a gun and shoot you with no warning there isn't much you can do. Just like the poor In n Out girl in Idaho, if a guy pulls up and then suddenly whips out a pistol and shoots you, there isn't really anything you can do.

So which CCW holder was killed off because a bad actor noticed him printing and took him out? I mean sure, wear appropriate gear and clothing. But the only person that will really notice you're printing is you. Can you name 5 or 6 guys that were killed off this way?

I’m lucky enough to not be able to name 5 or 6 guys that died period. You just made my point.

“I mean sure, wear appropriate gear and clothing.”

If you’re printing then something wasn’t right, either the gear or the clothing.

I'm not wearing shirts two sizes too big to have 0 printing at all times in all conditions no matter what. lol. Karen will just have to deal with it. Especially if you're bending over or moving a lot some printing is going to happen with a double stack handgun. So yeah, don't print like crazy to where people can't ignore it, but don't obsess over it either.

Realistically the people worried the most are probably people that will get fired from their job for corpo rules.

Think it will depend on area you are in.Do this in rural area no one is gonna care or freak out.Do so in a heavy liberal area in the city and they may panic and think you are evil.

Here where im at when i started carrying i had a jacket lift up my shirt and exposed my gun as i got out of my truck.Guy next to me who just got out whistled to get my attention and said hey as he pointed to his side looking at me and looked down saw what happened. He laughed and said yeh it happens to all of us at one time.

Hasn’t happened. I’d probably chuckle and say “no, it’s a medical device. Sucks to get old.” That assumes it wasn’t visible and was just cause they saw a bulge. Since I often pocket carry in a DeSantis holster (with nothing else in the pocket), should anyone comment, I’d probably say “annoying to carry a both a work and personal cell phone.” I don’t think I would stay wherever I was and slowly leave the area. Hasn’t happened yet.

Who is going to confront someone with a potential gun and ask that? They would just call 911 if it was a Karen who thought you had a gun.

“No” would be my response.

Why do you guys worry about this stuff?
If you're carrying concealed, IT'S CONCEALED.
If you're wearing a gun and you wear the crop tops and skin tight jeans that dudes wear these days ((n)) its time to adjust your wardrobe or your gun. For years I appendix carried a full size TRP operator in 45acp with a wilson combat 10 round single stack magazine, id alternate between that and a glock 19 with a surefirex300 even tho I owened multiple subcompacts like a glock 26. The trick? Dont wear size "baby".
a couple years ago I was at target and someone whom to me looked like a text book off duty swat officer was waiting in line, as I passed I casually said "your p320 grip is sticking out" and I kept it moving (he was carrying at about 4oclock on his waist band... he could not tell his shirt was up), I never waited for a response or anything.

Guys, just carry up front. If we want to be mall ninja about it, your body is made to reach forward...defensively you have more range of motion (and strength forward than backwards) the guys carrying at 3,4,5 or 7,8,9 o'clock positions are at a much higher disadvantage than someone carrying appendix. ALSO, what guy looks at a dudes junk while walking? The chances of printing and it being noticed by anyone but the ladies when carrying up front is so much lower compared to a bulge by your rear hip line.
But they won't blow their junk off.

Even if your CCW Issuing authority specifies you have to alert law enforcement that you are carrying, it's still not arguably against the law to not do so. It's in violation of the permit terms and you could lose your permit of course. But even talking about your gun to LE is a grey area, why would you even engage with a stranger on the street about it? Just rattle off the first Dad Joke you can think of and walk away.

You don't owe anyone a response.

If they go full Karen and make scene, leave.
If they go full retard, make a scene and call LE. Wait there. Say nothing to them. Show LE your permit and walk away.

Ok, I’ll play. No, it’s my diabetic pump and I’m very self conscious about it and I do not want to talk about it; good day.

Make them feel like an ass for not minding their own business. Besides, the kinda Karen that would ask you is not the kind that could stop you if you were up to no good; I mean only so much should be expected from a manager.

What's your response?
