CCW - you're carrying, you print or it's exposed, someone (employee, random stranger) asks 'you're carrying (a gun)?

Guys, just carry up front. If we want to be mall ninja about it, your body is made to reach forward...defensively you have more range of motion (and strength forward than backwards) the guys carrying at 3,4,5 or 7,8,9 o'clock positions are at a much higher disadvantage than someone carrying appendix. ALSO, what guy looks at a dudes junk while walking? The chances of printing and it being noticed by anyone but the ladies when carrying up front is so much lower compared to a bulge by your rear hip line.

Where do I start?
1) 💩 happens - just because it's concealed doesn't mean mistakes won't/can't happen.
2) the environment we live in leans toward prosecuting law abiding gun owners.
3) Karens (need I say more?)
4) fortune favors the prepared mind and all that bullsh1t. Doesn't hurt to be informed.
5) CCW issuing agencies are looking for reasons to take them away.

2) maybe at a state level but not with most DA’s
3) Karen’s are pretty powerless these days.
5) proof? I’ve had two CCW usage incidents and sac sheriff just says thanks have a good day. Calling BS on that without evidence

It’s been said before probably but you should realize 95%+ of people are oblivious or don’t care about you. Despite what Reddit nerds tell you, you can wear your bass pro shops hat with a Glock t shirt and your OPERATOR TACTICAL pants, printing with a full size gun and 99.99% of people will not care, notice or say anything. They’re wrapped up in their own lives and you’re just not that important.

That’s just my observation as an investigator and I’ve also tried seeing what would happen, for my own personal experimentation, if I didn’t give a f and wore really tight clothes with a big gun and nobody ever cares.

You realize that you start out by saying "Why do you guys worry about this stuff? If you're carrying concealed, IT'S CONCEALED." essentially giving the impression that OP's question is dumb. Then you proceed to share a story about how you called out a dude who thought he was concealed was in fact not concealed followed by a lecture that nobody asked for or was contesting you on.

Nope and keep walking. You don’t owe anyone any sort of explanation. Then go invest in a better holster and/or belt. Remember to dress for the CCW, wearing skin tight clothing might not be a smart idea when you’re carrying. If a “concern” person can see you printing then a “bad actor” can definitely see it and you’ve just made yourself a target.

If youre carrying concealed, keep it concealed.
The story I told was simple and proves that most people dont give a damn if youre carrying or not. Im sure I wasnt the only person that saw the grip of the gun sticking out and nobody was called.

lol when does that ever happen? By this hypothetical logic you’re just as lucky to be a deterrent to a “bad actor” since criminals go for soft easy targets.

As ASP says, criminals are going to be excited and in tunnel vision, not magically scanning the room like they’re Jason Bourne looking for the guy with a HK shirt that has a weird bulge off by 2 degrees at one angle lmao. Sounds again more like a fantasy by Reddit nerds with unwarranted self importance, no offense. Unless you can cite numerous examples that prove your point is correct and not just FUD or a one off.

Idk, I carry strong side and the guy that faced down the barrel of my HK didn’t say 💩 about my carry position. Neither did the car of Mexicans lmaooo rest in pieces to those 💩bags.

That’s the point. IF a concern citizen can see you printing then so can a bad actor. I’m not saying that anyone is able to differentiate between the two.

If these "bad actor" hitmen decide it's your time, the harsh reality is you're probably going to die anyways - Especially since this is a fantasy world to begin with anyways lol. You are more likely to die in a car crash or from heart disease than the "scary bad actors" you think are following you around. Worry about more important things than fringe fantasies that could happen in a 1 in 100 million chance.

Just my advice as some guy that runs counter surveillance for a living. :D

If your harsh reality is that when someone decides that it’s your time then you’re going to probably die anyway the why carry at all? Judging from your advice there’s no point in taking preventative measures cause when it’s your time it’s your time.

I never said bad actors are following you or anyone around. I simply stated that if someone can see you printing, then it’s probably time to invest in better gear or better clothing because as I’ve stated before, you can’t tell who’s out to get you and who’s not.
