Not even sure where to post this (mods, feel free to move it if needed!) , but this turdly gem floated to the top while browsing YouTube last night.... and appears to still be live tonight!

I recognized the "avatar" from several other YT junk/clikbait videos, but this one is something that appears far more sinister - it references/hallucinates an apparently non-existent current case "decision" (that shares a title with an unrelated older 2015 case?!), and makes a number of claims that I'm sure we all might WISH were true, but are blatantly made up falsehoods that could mislead the unaware into serious legal trouble or worse.

Imagine if the average person is getting their "news" while doomscrolling, with this sort of propaganda/false information getting promoted in their feeds....

Welcome to the AI "enhanced" universe, where you can't believe your eyes, ears, "facts", or "sources" without double, triple, quadruple checking and verifying... and even then...????

The amount of AI bs on YouTube and the rest of the internet is a real problem. AI doesn't differentiate between fact and fiction, it just does what it is directed to do. If it is AI, is should be clearly stated as such.

Yeah the comments are scary, most people have no idea it’s BS. I reported it to YouTube yesterday, this could really get some people into legal trouble

I've been finding myself having to report AI SLOP on things like Google Gemini stating that you CAN NOT PPT an off roster, when the DoJ website clearly says it's 100% legal to do so... and the "more info" button leads to the DoJ web site stating so!

I'm at least reconsidering whether AI will become sentient and try to wipe out humanity... although it's still an issue if it could decide to pit groups against other groups (like the political extreme nut jobs are are already hard at work doing!?), until it rises to widespread violence. The posted video (that I believe has CCP origins) at a minimum suggests that AI can be used to create false narratives that could result in significantly BAD outcomes if they were widely believed... To be honest, THAT scenario was a significant push for me to get "into guns" years ago...

I used to say that the old movie(s) "Lawnmower Man" might be the model that unfolds (particularly in light of the hallucinations and psychotic tendencies when AI is turned loose and allowed out of a dataset controlled "sandbox")...

I beginning to think perhaps it's going to be more like "Multiplicity", where with each "generation", the degradation of the "information" being fed upon (being at least to some extent the product of previous degradations in fact and accuracy) will result in AI being the informational equivalent of the kid who eats paste.... and will tell us how tasty and nutritious paste is!

I've already seen at least 4 separate instances recently where the AI "answer", the "answer" from a human in the appropriate official capacity, and the "answer" from the appropriate agencies web site(s) are completely at odds with each other... and that's BEFORE adding any "John Q. public" opinions to the mix!!

I remember when the "internet" was going to usher in a brave new era with access to the all of human wisdom and knowledge... and we got AOL level interactivity and cat videos... I wonder whether all the BILLIONS being poured into AI will be the end chapter, one way or another????

The fact that the video says the 3 liberal women voted in the majority on a gun case should be enough for any gun owner to know it's BS
