Carry options for odd gun and the gym?

Why not bolt something like this to your nightstand instead? No holster, I have one and cut out the foam to accommodate a light. Easy quick access with thumb print: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07QFQ179L?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

I have no input on the gym; there is no possible way I could do a workout with a gun on me in any configuration. I can’t imagine squatting/deadlifting, doing any sort of plyo stuff, etc- not worth giving up the workout imo

Not trying to be "that guy" and I mean this very friendly & respectfully, but can we all try to NOT give anti-gun amazon any more of our business than we absolutely have to?

By all means, post links to illustrate, but let's all try to give small gun shops the business - esp. these days.

Again; submitted with respect.

No, you’re right. I try, but I admit that I succumb to the convenience/price and ease of return factor at times. I should try to do better for sure, no disagreements there.

Gym carry doesn't really work with the gun on your body. I tried it for awhile and just ended up with sciatic nerve pain. Even pocket carry isn't great, but is the best on body option. Instead, I keep the gun in my bag or car in a Dillon Plan B holster:

Every day I carry my EDC Glock 19 with a Kydex IWB holster. I never set down a gun unless it is in a Kydex holster or a safe. The rrigger guard is aways covered on my nightstand or in my desk drawer.

I would like to put a light on my oddball Glock 37 for nighttime home defense. Since it is an unusual Glock, normal kydex holster choices are very limited. If I add a light those choices go to about zero. Ideas?

Second question – at the gym or anytime I am not wearing a belt. What do you guys do? I am not stoked on the idea of a belly band.
er, train like you fight? guy at IDPA range said once, are you going to have all those bells & whistles AKA accessories on you everyday you carry? no? then why do the IDPA course that way? at gym I either trained with my full size 1911 or went bare , threadmill was eye opening.

Off body, 100%:

Well.... know thyself; if you are at ALL apt to lose / forget / put stuff down & leave it; then maybe don't.
Fortunately, I'm not, so off body works excellent.
Vertx has a ton of great bags, packs, fanny packs.
I have & really like their larger SOCP fanny pack - though it is quite larger than the Everday linked above.......

Obvi there's TONS of fanny pack / gun bag / off body options which do NOT scream "gun" these days..... we are lucky!

No hate, but if I ever see a pull tab on an off-body bag, that just screams gun inside to me.

Don't get me wrong, though, most people aren't out looking for guns, so they probably won't notice, but those that are, which include criminals, most likely will

Do you mean carry while working out or just while driving to the gym?
I think these guys mean while working out. I cannot for the life of me figure out how anyone does any sort of workout with a piece anywhere on them. Unless you’re like 80 moving the legs 0.002ft/sec on the bike pedals…
