Feedback Canik TTI seizures by CA DOJ

DOJ doesn't know the difference and it sucks that they get away with it. "Make it make sense" doesn't apply to them.

Yes, your assessment is 100% correct. Speaking with Canik reps, the design is proprietary. It cannot accept anything else. It's amazing how those at the DOJ feel the need to interpret laws in realm with which they are grossly uneducated.
This is how unchecked power looks like. DOJ agents don't care about making this kind of mistake if there are no repercussions for them personally, career-wise. There should be.

So let me get this straight... they are completely illegal now?

So individuals that have these registered to them are in possession of illegal firearms?

Welcome to California. If you can figure out the wacky gun laws here, let the rest of us know.

I have a legally bought AR-15 muzzle break that has threads for it's sound sleeve.

It perfectly threads to a truck oil filter creating a good supressor. Don't try that here. You may do more time than a convicted murderer.

Earlier I asked if I called DOJ would it be stirring the pot - no comments, so I did. So called and going from one automated system to another after 5 minutes I said (OK thought) to hell with it. I was told by a recorded voice that they are understaffed and would have longer wait times, hell I never got to a so-called wait time. I wonder if the short staff is caused by the $1.2 Billon annex took the place of hiring people.
So, no luck there. Called my Sheriffs (Sutter County) Office spoke to someone in charge, and they have not heard anything about the Canik TTI comp ruling. Talked with my LGS and same answer. So, I am guessing that no such transactions for the Canik TTI have happened in my county.
Wii then I call Canik from them got a number to call and it ended up being Century Arms. She said they have not heard anything either. Before I hung up I asked if she was the one who would know of this, and she said yes.

Is there any way you could publish the information of the Departments or Guns dealers where this has happened. Of course, I understand if you cannot. I will follow up with a DM.
