A note on why more of the site now requires an account: automated scrapers and AI systems have been crawling our forums and classifieds at a scale. Requiring sign-in for those sections is the most effective tool we have. It takes a minute to register, it's free, and it keeps what happens here between actual members.

The City of Los Angeles and Santa Clara County have both received demand letters from CRPA relating to their unconstitutional CCW application processes. Each has 30 days to respond, meaning that we'll know in early April whether those jurisdictions will make their CCW process "Bruen-compliant". Neither has been terribly interested in complying with the Bruen decision in the nearly three years since it was announced. If they do not comply, CRPA may have no choice but to pursue legal action, as we have done in our case against the LA Sheriff's Department.
CRPA's CCW Reckoning Project intends to ensure a Bruen-compliant CCW process in ALL jurisdictions throughout California. We will not rest until that is the case...will you join us?
