We are in the 11th Hour! The California Legislature has come back from their month-long break, and they will once again be discussing more proposed bills that would unconstitutionally regulate your firearms!
On top of that, the procedure in which these bills are being discussed, will not allow for testimony! We need to advocate directly to our elected officials to inform them that Californian's will not sit idly by and watch their rights be stripped from them!
Here is what is on the table...
Oppose Senate Bill 53 and Assembly Bill 3064! These two bills in combination would create a lock box roster, just like the California Handgun Roster." Creating hurdles for companies to sell their products in CA while limiting the options that Californians would have to store their firearms. This would also create an enforcement method making it unlawful for Californians to store their firearms in a lock box that is in turn, not on that roster!
Oppose Assembly Bill 2917! This bill would double the length of potentially unconstitutional bans of firearms for those who have had a gun violence restraining order placed against them! These orders are placed with no due process and cannot be allowed to be broadened!
