Forged is stronger than bullet on a gram for gram basis but a good billet receiver like ADM or radian will have tighter tolerances and be thicker where it matters and will be stiffer. I particularly like billet uppers because of the stiffness, less flex means that shooting off barricades and stuff where you are putting weight on the handguard will result in less POI shift from barrel movement. The lower likely doesn't matter in the same way for accuracy but overspending on a forged lower like LMT just seems silly, if you are overspending at least get a lower where you can see where your money went.
 
Thanks for the flashback FriedChickies. 20 or so years ago a guy on CalGuns (don't recall his name, he was a regional manager for one of the large house paint retailers, lived in the central valley as I recall) got a few of us to all go in on bare AR's. He made a deal for a gaggle of them with a gun shop out there and we got nice pricing. Picked it up and the modification flag was dropped- all kinds of stuff added, then changed. The EOTech optic I added comes to mind- it got recalled 5+/- years later and EOTech swapped me for the newest generation/model plus some goodies they threw in the box. Good times! Still have it, Kaiser Arms is the basis.
