Looking to troubleshoot a family members rig, upper consists of:
Criterion hybrid midlength 13.9 223 wylde chambering
BCM bcg
BCM upper receiver
BCM handguard
Geissele super 42 spring with an H2 buffer
Sitting on a Radian ADAC.
We've ran a few different rounds through it , id estimate the current round count is 200+/- and im aware of 4 or more instances where a primer has blown out of the back of the casing and caused a jam. 2 or 3 times the primer got lodged toward the front of the bolt face and we had to mortar the rifle, today a primer got stuck up near the gas key and we had to remove the castle nut and drift the BCG out the back.
Today's blown primer came out of a factory sealed Federal American Eagle xm193 5.56
If its a head space issue is there anything that can actually be done? Or would he just need to buy a new bolt sight unseen and hope it has a different tolerance than the original?
