BG 2.0 - Who's Carrying it?

OK everyone, maybe this has been bantied about before, but I'll ask it anyway.

I got my BG 2.0 Carry Comp back a few months ago. It's become my "go everywhere" gun when I'm out and about near home and im in a low threat kind of environment. During summer is was easy to conceal, and fits into my lifestyle pretty easily. (When I want something bigger I have a Shield X or Shield Plus I can use...) I'm running HST 99 gr rounds right now and using a CYA kydex holster. I don't carry it 100% of the time, but it's getting a lot of time right now in the summer.

I do wish I could direct mount an optic, but I'm considering the Viridian green dot for later. For it's intended purpose as a lightweight carry gun to get me to safety should trouble find me it's pretty amazing as is.

Who else is carrying it? Any lessons learned / experiences worth sharing? What ammo are you using?

I am putting a Bodyguard 2.0 Carry Comp on my permit for pocket carry, in place of my S&W 640. I put a Gideon Pebble red dot on it, and bought a Vedder Pocket Locker (which is great, by the way). I just bought some 99-grain Federal HSTs for it that I’m saving to use as carry ammo. Now I just have to do the modification on Permitium.

I'm stuck only carrying it around the house. Permit renewal isn't until December 2027 😢. Really hope San Bernardino switches that policy up. The BG 2.0 is an awesome little gun.

You should be able to. Either slide swap kit + direct mill from defiant or a plate system from monsoon, no?

Yes, it's on my CCW just renewed, I have both Carry Comp and regular version slides with a Gideon Pebble optic. The optic mounts via the rear dovetail and is stronger and sturdier than I expected. I use a 4BROS holster selected because if works for both slides. I'm using Federal Premium Law Enforcement HST 380 ACP AUTO Ammo 99 Grain Jacketed Hollow Points.

Damn, never thought la county does something better than SB
SB is pretty stupid, and it's all self inflicted. They also limit the permit to 3 guns maximum, for no reason. Only because the Sheriff is an idiot. I do a joint Riv/SB renewal class and all the SB people are off the line after 3 guns meanwhile the rest of us are blasting away doing 5 or 6 guns on our permits.

LA has 3 guns limit too

SB is also awful for the fact that so many people asked for clarification the sheriff formalized a policy disallowing the carrying of freedom week mags for your CCW.

I carry mine more often now. My other carry is Shield X and Shield Plus.

I use Speer gold dots for SD ammo but I’m completely content with the iron sights.

It’s almost comical how small this pistol is and how well it conceals. I feel like sometimes it may not be sufficient enough due to its size.
