Best small .380 EDC gun on CA Roster?

Looking for recommendations for a CA Roster small .380 carry gun. I'm about to go for my first CCW license.

I have the CZ 75 D PCR with some CGW mods. Shoots well and it's not too big.

I also have the CZ 2075 RAMI in 9mm but I think it's too much bullet for that gun. I'll probably sell it.

I'm looking for something in .380 that shoots nicely and carries well. The SIG P238 is on my radar along with the Ruger LCP Max. What else should I be looking at? I haven't shot the Shield Plus yet but people seem to like it.

If you want to get an off roster I have a Glock 42 I am intending on selling. Otherwise for on roster I can't make recommendations other than maybe a revolver because I only buy off roster. Good luck with the hunt.
 
I just picked up an off roster walther pd380. Took it to the range. It fires just as smooth as my pdp, in a frame slightly larger than the p22. I highly suggest a pd380 or pk380 if you can find one. Very comfortable carry (im 6'2 but thin) I dont really feel it. Decent weight to it and super accurate. Also, the bersa is great. Its kind of a knock off walther ppk/s
 
usually it's p238 > all. i owned/sold a p238, a p365 (9mm), and an LCP (not max) ... i'd love to try an LCP Max.

OFF NOTE; did you take a look at Precision One Ammunition? that's a pretty neat review ShootTheBull did on youtube. i ran 1000s through my p238/lcp ... i wish more "known" youtubers would put it to test. when people compare 380 rounds, they NEVER/HARDLY include them.
